GA Review[edit]

Unclear what has been done from long list of specifics left from last review. Long and extremely interesting article and subject. Major issue not addressed right now that will take some much time from a collaborative effort of several people like prose, references and while the images are not bad, some have little encyclopedic value. Quick decline with the intention to cover issues from last review and talk page.--Amadscientist (talk) 19:30, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Very disappointing. If it is not clear what has been done from the previous review, that is not a failing on the article's part. Neither the prose, nor the references, nor the images are such that a quick fail is warranted. I also note that many of your copyedits were in fact unhelpful and introduced factual errors in the article. I am planning to renominate and ask that someone else review it. The article does need work. However, as far as Alexander being Greek and a King, this is an article on Alexander the Great. He inherited his fathers Kingdom, therefore, he would be King. He ruled Greece. I would say he is a King. Alexander the I proved he was of Argive descent and allowed to compete in the Olympics. If Alexander I is Greek, then Alexander the Great would be Greek.
