Self-published source violates BLP[edit]

BLP (Biographies of Living Persons) / Self Published Sources

"The many faces of QCD (3)". November 17, 2010.
The reference above qualifies as a self-published source with regards to BLP, and cannot be used. Furthermore, the individual Alexander Dynin himself has interacted with the specific reference cited here. This is borderline autobiographical. Atomic putty? Rien! 20:14, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hrm. Checked out the page for the Yang-Mills millennium prize problem. Turns out, Dynin was involved with editing sections of the article that pertained to himself. Although this is all twelve years done by now, I'm going to look into the sources cited on that page-- being an important article, it merits a post-controversy second look. Apparently the issue was never bumped up to a higher authority, and much of the content was allowed to remain? I do note that Dynin's account is no longer active. Anyway, if somebody stumbled across this, you might want to go check out the talk page and check my work.. Atomic putty? Rien! 20:55, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, autobiographical beyond a shadow of a doubt. Yeesh! Atomic putty? Rien! 20:56, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
