Rhapsody in Black[edit]

'Rhapsody in Black' was not a film (there's no film of that name) but a Broadway show. Tiresias13 (talk) 21:09, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Tiresias13! You're right. I've changed it. Mdr9876 (talk) 07:10, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Until The Real Thing Comes Along[edit]

I think this wording might be misleading: "Alec Wilder ... suggested that Nichols was the real composer of the song".

Wilder's words (in "American Popular Song" ) are: "Now who do you suppose wrote the tune? My money is on that poor innocent Miss Nichols". (I don't get the "poor innocent" bit but never mind.)

I'd substitute "melody" for "song" and drop the word "real": "Alec Wilder... suggested that Nichols was the composer of the melody."

(I'm not sure about "suggested", either. It's really just a guess, isn't it?)

Edited to reflect the above. Lyn50 (talk) 05:32, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
