Noticed that this section has very little information. Here is some information I have written up for a school report. Dont know how much it could help but It's worth placing here just in case it does help.

Sir Albert Henry Hime was born in 1842 to Rev. M.C. Hime and Harriett Lloyd. He was educated in Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, Trinity College, Dublin and the Royal Military Academy. In 1861 he was commissioned into the Royal Engineers. He was promoted to Captain in 1874, Major 1881 and retired in 1883 as a Lieutenant Colonel. Most of his time in the military was spent in Natal as a roads, railway and harbour engineer. He was later elected to the Natal Legislative Council. In 1884-85 he surveyed the Natal-Orange Free State border and during this survey he discovered many of the rock paintings in the area. From 1897 to 1899 he was Minister for Lands, Works and Defence and from 1899 to 1901 during the Boer War he was Prim Minister. He stayed in office until 1903.

He played an important role in stopping the 1906 Zulu Rebellion and afterwords he retired to England. He was made a CMG in 1886 and was awarded a knighthood in 1900. He became a Privy Councillor in 1902. He was awarded honorary degrees of Doctor of Law from the Universities of Dublin, Cambridge and Edinburgh.
