Extremly biased article[edit]

This article is clearly written from an anti-Cobo view. It begins by ignoring the non-partisan nature of Detroit mayoral elections. It discounts the concerns of those who supported Cobo, and engages in various smears on him that seem to not even try to abide by Neutral point of view guidelines.John Pack Lambert (talk) 20:46, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Too many unsourced statements[edit]

We need to source Cobo backing freeways better. We also need a lot more sourcing on who wanted freeways in general. People who live at 7 Mile and Telegraph are city residents, but their access to the central city is much facilitated by freeways. In Detroit speech too often "suburbanite" is code for "white", whilce "white" is too often code for things that are less than all whites. People need to be careful to choose their words so that they reflect reality. This article is too much based on one side of the views on Cobo and his accomplishments, and uses too many biased words, weasle words, attack words, and unencyclopedic smears.John Pack Lambert (talk) 21:04, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
