Smithsonian channel[edit]

YouTube has excerpt which has a tour guide causing delay by forgetting his passport, his group thus ending up in the rear of the plane and 90% of them surviving. Carlm0404 (talk) 15:52, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There's two types of information in these articles:
  • Scientific, technical, and legal information: The producers of Mayday are not specialized in these fields, and one should replace citations to Mayday with citations to the original accident reports (where Mayday producers get their information anyway)
  • Cultural and societal: These do not involve scientific information and so I think it's OK to cite Mayday for that.
However I feel it is better to cite the "original" sources for the info. I'm almost certain that other publications reported on the misplaced passport. They might be Korean or Chinese ones.

Criminal prosection of the captain[edit]
