New maps[edit]

I'll be updating the maps this week. Rarelibra (talk) 15:00, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Districts and Counties[edit]

See Wikipedia page 'FIPS county codes' and second link. This has AS with 5 county codes: the 3 districts and Rose and Swains Islands. I think these are 'county equivalents', that is, things that are not legally called counties but report as counties for certain purposes. So some data systems will call your districts counties. I'll leave this on the talk page and let a local expert move it to the main page if this is correct. Benjamin Trovato (talk) 03:27, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assigning Villages to Counties/Districts[edit]

I've used the wonderful maps currently on the page plus one referenced in the link to figure out which villages are in which counties and districts. Should this be included and if so, how?

If someone else has been hard at work on this page, I don't want to step on any toes. Also, I haven't seen enough "Administrative division of _____" pages to know the best or preferred method for including this information.

I would argue it is best to include it in both the text and the maps. I can add the text, but don't feel quite skilled enough to tackle the maps yet.

The villages[edit]

The pages about villages are unsourced. Do we need so many one-liners if the list contains the names?Xx236 (talk) 08:16, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
