Notability[edit]

If not, we should delete almost all articles about role-playing games. Check the category Role-playing games, probably no article there should be allowed to exist on Wikipedia if this article is not notable. --claes (talk) 09:07, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Origins Awards are notable enough to have an entry in Wikipedia. Wikipedia:Notability (toys and games)#Criteria #2 states, "The toy or game has won a notable award or a commendation from a recognized national or international educators, parents, medical, or consumers group or some other similar body." If the Origins Awards are a "Notable" Award by virtue of having an entry in Wikipedia then surely an Origins Award Winner falls under that Criteria. --User:Greylond

The proposed deletion[edit]

This article is notable according to the Wikipedia notability standards. The book has won an Origins Award and is also nominated for an ENnie Award. So this article should stay. If not, almost all articles about books and role-playing games on Wikipedia should be deleted. --claes (talk) 09:13, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Correction, the game has been nominated for Four Ennie Awards. Please respond to my comments above about the Wiki Definition of Notable. RE: Wikipedia:Notability (toys and games)#Criteria #2.
