Untitled[edit]

What is the problem with the image of A. Cevdet? I found it on the internet and gave the link which is http://www.mustafaakyol.org/im/cevdet.jpg Is this not enough? Please clarify. Same with the article Süleyman Nazif I helped extending; neither my text is there nor his image that I, again, identified as a scan from Nazif's book Batarya ile Ateş, in my possession. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Necademic (talk • contribs).

It is the copyright issues. Giving a source is not enough, we need to have explicit permission to use it on Wikipedia (and maybe other sites that use Wikipedia (Answers.com etc)). A written permission or a GNU Free Documentation License would be enough. Please see WP:COPY and WP:TAG Deniz^T_C 14:19, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
