Article name[edit]

Shouldn't this article be named 2018–19 West Region Premiership? It seems the only reason why it is named this way, is because the previous season's article had that name, going back to the first one created in 2010-11.

The SJFA refers to this league as the West Region Premiership: http://www.scottishjuniorfa.com/sjfa/competition_leaguetables.cfm?page=1758

Nowhere else online is it referred to as West of Scotland (except where it references Wikipedia), and the two other SJFA regions are simply named East/North Region Superleague on here. Any reason why the current article name should be kept?

Personally, I would have waited more than a day before moving the page. When I created the article, I kept the previous naming convention which I believe stems from Stagecoach's sponsorship of the competition in the late 2000s/early 2010s. I agree it was right to move it though, all the local papers call it the "McBookie West Region Premiership" as well.

I was thinking about waiting but couldn't come up with a reason for not renaming it. :-) Also thought about changing the previous years, but it seems like they were named West of Scotland according to: http://www.scottishjuniorfa.com/sjfa/competitions.cfm?page=1760 - assume it just changed for this season?
Forgot about signing - would be nice if Wikipedia reminded you before saving...Boothy m (talk) 17:34, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
