Leadtech poll[edit]

I've removed the Leadtech poll, because it doesn't seem to be notable. It is an online poll that has not been discussed by any third-party reliable sources. Feel free to add it back if any media outlet discusses it. utcursch | talk 15:30, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Also, unlike the IP 49.200.*.* claims, the reference is clearly self-published source. Direct quote: "This Opinion poll has been conducted online on the website infoelections.com. It purely shows the opinion of online voters.". utcursch | talk 17:13, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Other parties[edit]

This party only includes the three major parties. Other smaller parties like Akali Dal (Amritsar), Apna Punjab, Communists, BSP are not mentioned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.89.102.199 (talk) 12:18, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Relevance of Graph in Opinion Poll[edit]

Can anybody please explain why is a graph needed in the opinion poll. Political parties should leave wiki free of their campaigning tactics. This is a learning platform for a lot of people. I hope the graph is removed and important election issues mentioned without any bias. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.133.246.75 (talk) 10:16, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Graphs have been used in all state election wiki pages since a long time. Even USA elections have similar graphs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.179.40.27 (talk) 12:23, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Arrangement[edit]

I believe normally the incumbent party is written as First Party, followed by the second largest and so on regardless of the opinion polls, etc.

Please take some time to look at the Wikipedia style guide before making changes. Also see WP:CRYSTAL and Fallibility of Opinion Polls

I also removed the spurious claim that the next election will be held in 2022. This cannot be predicted in a parliamentary system where snap elections are possible.
