Page protection[edit]

There is obviously a bit of piss-taking going on here. This page should be temporarily locked until the election as the following candidates are consistently having their party affiliations changed by similar IP addresses to either nonsense parties or extremist parties. Given that the candidates are also students at the local university, one suspects other students might be having a laugh.

I have been aware of these edits for some time and the page has been changed on an almost daily basis. I have had a look at the recent history of the page and it is a user from your IP address that has changed the party of Aric Gilinsky from the Conservatives to the Cupcake Alliance Party, then the Scottish Green Party and then the Workers Party of Scotland. I understand that you may be accessing Wikipedia on a shared computer, and these edits may not have been necessarily by yourself. I have requested temporary semi-protection and we'll just need to wait and see if the request is successful. Andrewmc123 19:16, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
