Speedy deletion[edit]

The 2010 Cambodian League will be starting soon, so if this page is deleted, it will only be re-created again. Although I am not the author of this page, i do tend to create the page to look similiar to other Asian football leagues. Druryfire (talk) 18:11, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If the league season hasn't started there was no need for the article to be created because there's nothing to write about. Footballers who haven't played any matches yet aren't worthy of articles, wo why should leagues be any different? The thing is, nearly all of the articles about Cambodian League seasons are just indiscriminate collections of sundry, miscellaneous statistics and that is not what Wikipedia is about, as described in WP:NOTSTATS. -- Big Dom 20:09, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So, if this page is deleted, i can assume that every other league in the world will also be deleted? If this page was for the English Premier League, then it wouldn't even be discussed about deleting, but because it's poor old Cambodia, then lets destroy it before it's even got off it's feet. The author's created a page, i can only assume he is going to add to it when time allows. The alst thing he need's is someone wanting to delete the page on day one. Give the author a chance first. No, but every other page in the world that consists of just one random sentence and neither any content nor context whatsoever should well be deleted. It's nothing to do with it being Cambodia, if the author had actually bothered to write anything that could assert notability then the page would have been just as notable as the Premier League. It's not just this season's article that is like this, I was going to see what happened with this page and then if this was deleted, I would PROD or speedy the other season articles that have been in the same state for ages. -- Big Dom 21:31, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
