Wikipedia is not a sports site, to publish analysis of particular games. The use of terms like "upset favorite", "seldom contested", "proved too much", IMHO, violates the WP:NPOV policy. The user keeps inserting the info even after a warning. Garavello (talk) 17:41, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The little graphic from FIBA doesn't contain the word "World" in the name of this event. Should the article title do so? MrArticleOne (talk) 17:57, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see a problem, as the title helps to state that it's a different tournament from the continental qualifyings that took place before. Garavello (talk) 18:01, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's just that, if that is not how the tournament is styled, I was asking what the consensus was on whether we ought to defer to the organizing body's name for the event. I tend to think we should. MrArticleOne (talk) 18:22, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
