Error in the Super Bowl XLII: vs. New England Patriots part of the article[edit]

"Afterwards, with only 2 minutes and 40 seconds left, Manning led his Giants from their own 17-yard line all the way to the Patriots' 13-yard line, featuring a 45 yard pass to backup tight end Kevin Boss (subbing for an injured Jeremy Shockey), where he would hook up with WR Plaxico Burress for the game-winning TD pass."

The 45 yard completion to Kevin Boss occurred during a prior drive, which resulted in the TD pass to David Tyree. The game winning drive (which occurred with 2:40 left in the game) for NY featured the play where Manning was nearly sacked by New England defenders, but managed to scramble out of the pocket then complete a 32 yard pass to David Tyree. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.10.95.49 (talk) 03:18, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Superbowl - misleading statement[edit]

"featuring a 45 yard pass to backup tight end Kevin Boss (subbing for an injured Jeremy Shockey)" - implies that Shockey started the game.

Suggest rewording to simply read "featuring a 45 yard pass to tight end Kevin Boss" - there is no need to mention Shockey, as he had been out since mid-December with a broken leg. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wjemather (talk • contribs) 09:45, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
