Qualifying[edit]

I'm afraid the qualifying section makes no sense to me. I suspect it was written by a non-native English speaker. Could someone who does have a clue reword it please? Sadly I missed the race so I've no idea how it works. --kingboyk 09:49, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
