Ashtarjan Rural District (Persian: دهستان اشترجان) is in the Central District of Falavarjan County, Isfahan province, Iran.[3] It is administered from the city of Ashtarjan.[4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 13,958 in 3,606 households.[5] There were 14,637 inhabitants in 4,284 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 23,214 in 7,318 households. The most populous of its 25 villages was Bostan (now the city of Bostan Zar),[7] with 5,309 people.[2]
