Marg Sar (Persian: مرگسر), also Romanized as Margeh Sar, Margsar, and Marg-e Sar; also known as Qal‘eh-ye Margsar,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Mahru Rural District of Zaz va Mahru District, Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 398 in 70 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 471 people in 83 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 379 people in 87 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
