Lazarus is an upcoming television series for Amazon Prime Video based on a Harlan Coben and Danny Brocklehurst script, and starring Bill Nighy, Alexandra Roach and Sam Claflin.

Synopsis[edit]

A forensic pathologist (Claflin) investigates cold case murders after returning to his family home following the death of his father (Nighy).[1]

It was reported in February 2024 that Amazon MGM Studios would produce the series in association with Harlan Coben's Final Twist Productions. Coben and Danny Brocklehurst are writers and executive producers on the series. Nicola Shindler and Richard Fee will also executive produce via Quay Street Productions, as will Sam Claflin, who also stars. Wayne Che Yip is executive producer and also director on the first two episodes. Matt Stevens is series producer for Quay Street Productions.[2]

Alongside Sam Claflin, Bill Nighy and Alexandra Roach were reported to be cast in February 2024.[3]

Filming got underway in Manchester in February 2024.[4]
