Khatereh (Persian: خاطره), also Romanized as Khāţereh; also known as Khātereh-ye Faraj,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Kashkan-e Jonubi Rural District of Shahivand District, Dowreh County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 844 in 193 households, when it was in Kashkan Rural District of the former Dowreh-e Chegeni District of Khorramabad County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 498 people in 120 households,[6] by which time the district had separated from the county in the establishment of Dowreh County.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 399 people in 147 households.[2]
