Kamienka (Rusyn: Камюнка, romanized: Kamiunka; Ukrainian: Камйонка, romanizedKamionka; Hungarian: Kövesfalva) is a village and municipality in Stará Ľubovňa District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia. The village is traditionally inhabited by Rusyns, as one of their westernmost settlements.

History[edit]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1342.

Geography[edit]

The municipality lies at an altitude of 588 metres (1,929 ft) and covers an area of 29.166 km2 (11.261 sq mi). It has a population of about 1409 people.
