Palau B participated in their only ever tournament in 1998, the Football at the Micronesian Cup. Their first ever match ended in a 8-0 defeat to North Mariana Islands, their heaviest defeat by far. Their second match would also end in a defeat, 4-0 to Guam. Their first win would come in their third match, in an 8-3 thumping win against Palau's main team. Their next to matches would also end in wins: 13-2 against Pohnpei (their largest ever win) and 6-3 against Yap. They lost their final match in this competition to Palau's Main team, 6-3.
