What is a "tomboc"?[edit]

The old Chambers Dictionary from 1908 defines "tomboc" as "a Javanese long-handled weapon". I can find little or nothing on this. Any ideas? Equinox ◑ 21:00, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
