" generally marketed as being in Orlando "

What? Does someone here work for the Orlando tourism board?

I though this was an encyclopedia. We should be concerned with the FACTS here, people. Not what is in the best interest of commercial tourism advertisements. Miamiboyzinhere (talk) 16:24, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The various Orlando-area attraction pages have been involved with an edit war over the last few weeks regarding THIS category's usage as representing the general Orlando area vs one editor's belief that it should only represent the Orlando city limits. Original conversation occurred at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2007_April_28#Category:Orlando_area_attractions, with discussions on various other pages such as Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2008 February 22‎ , Category:Visitor attractions in Bay Lake, Florida, Category:Visitor attractions in Orange County, Florida , Category:Roller coasters in Greater Orlando, etc. SpikeJones (talk) 19:39, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Update: continued conversation on two variations on the topic have also occurred at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2010 April 20, with one of the two articles being "kept" and the other as "no consensus, but recommended be relisted due to conversation on other listing".
