Criteria for Articles on Pakistani Journalists

Dear Friends, I would please like to know what exactly is the established criteria for adding articles on Pakistani 'journalists'here on Wikipedia?--as I note that many of these articles and in the listings arent about very 'notable' journalists and most of them arent very well referenced or organised and the majority are about Living People and dont meet all the requirements/standards for such biographies. I really would suggest that some sort of criteria/gauge be determined by the WikiProject Pakistan in this regard, please, and only a select and high standard/quality listing be maintained of properly recognised and established jurnalists who have been around for some time and have a broad national and international standing. That would really go a long way towards helping improve some of the articles on the WikiProject Pakistan. Else, anyoone who works for any one of the many new media channels here, can go and start a page or article for self-promotion and self-advertisement.
