Paul of Aleppo is not Greek, he is "Greek Orthodox" (and Syrian). Sorry about th confusion - on his page, I shall edit "Greek" into "Eastern". Please, don't add him here again. Dahn 13:32, 30 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

the blurb[edit]

According to the blurb at the top... This is a category of the writers of Greece, this would be people citizens of or in other ways connected with the modern nation state. It is a category based on nationality, not on language used nor ethnicity. So why are their historical categories, like Byzantine writers? Srnec (talk) 04:09, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
