Asa Germann is an American actor. He appears in the Amazon Prime Video superhero series Gen V, as Sam Riordan, and reprises the role in The Boys.

Career[edit]

Germann started his career on stage at the Ruskin Theatre in Los Angeles in productions such as Suburbia, This is Our Youth, Orphans, and The Red Coat.[1]

Germann appeared on screen in Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,[2] and Caviar.[3] He also appeared in the 2020 short film Two Little Boys directed by Farbod Khoshtinat.[4]

In May 2022, he was cast as Sam in the Amazon Prime Video superhero series Gen V alongside Jaz Sinclair and London Thor.[5][6] He undertook extensive stunt training for the physicality required for the role.[7] During the production of the first season he broke his arm.[8] He will reprise the role in a second season and the fourth season of The Boys.[9]

Personal life[edit]

Germann is the son of actors Christine Mourad and Greg Germann, who has had main roles in shows such as Ally McBeal and Grey's Anatomy.[10]
