  1. Charles Matthews (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I read French easily, and am engaged in a broad range of historical topics here, mostly biographical. 07:56, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  2. I have been editing and creating pages on Wikipedia every day for years. I already have access to Jstor and quote academic articles accordingly to improve or create articles. By having access to Cairn, I could add in-line references to more articles. I would focus on French and francophone history (ancient regime, slavery in Haiti, colonialism in Africa and Indochina, etc.), French politics and literature (for example, academic articles about American literature written by French scholars).Zigzig20s (talk) 13:34, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  3. Sir Gawain (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Editor since 2004, I generally edit on German Wikipedia, focusing on architectural and historic topics. Already having JSTOR access, I was able to enhance articles like de:Schloss Tanlay and de:Schloss La Bastie d’Urfé. An access to the CAIRN collection would be of great use for me und my work for Wikimedia projects. -- Sir Gawain (talk) 16:44, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  4. Andrew Dalby (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Editor since 2005. Many edits on en:wiki and some on fr: and other languages, but I usually edit on Vicipaedia (Latin) where I am an admin. I especially work to make la:wiki a handy source of bibliographies and links (hence more useful to speakers of other languages too). I often cite JSTOR journals (via my membership of the London Library), here and on la:, and I could make good use of Cairn.info in the same way. I'll make sure that citations on la:wiki follow guidelines equivalent to those above. Andrew Dalby 09:03, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  5. OwenBlacker (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Editor since 2004. I mainly edit on enwiki, though I also contribute some to commons and occasionally also edit on frwiki. Generally, I work on mediæval European history (particularly Holy Roman Empire, Old Swiss Confederacy and up to the end of the Napoleonic Wars, the millennium up to 1815, roughly), with a little on European colonial history, so the history resources within Cairn.info would be very useful. I do already have JSTOR access. — OwenBlacker (Talk) 19:15, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Benoit Rochon: My email has been bouncing a lot lately; I've just changed (and confirmed) the email address Wikimedia has for me, so it should work again now. Sorry about that! — OwenBlacker (Talk) 12:01, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Benoit Rochon: It looks like I had more problems with my email, but these should be resolved now. Sorry! — OwenBlacker (Talk) 17:17, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  6. Jamesmcardle (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email)A contributor since 2006, I am particularly interested in researching French photography and photographers, for whom there is limited material in English. As a WPL Coordinator in outreach and communication, access to, and familiarity with, this resource will assist my volunteer work in those areas.sinarau (talk) 00:28, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merci ! Evangeline (talk) 12:17, 25 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  9. Eperoton (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I'm a somewhat recent but active editor focusing on subjects related to Islam and Late Antiquity. Between my two accounts (this one and msubotin, phased out privacy reasons) I have over a year of Wikipedia experience and over 800 edits. Over the last month I've made significant contributions to Religion in pre-Islamic Arabia, History of Islam, Shahada and Zakat. I'm fluent in French and would like to reflect Francophone scholarship in my contributions. Eperoton (talk) 20:36, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

-Elias Z 09:26, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  11. Nattes à chat (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email). I am present on the encyclopedia (mostly French, and in lesser extent the english since 2012, while contributing much more regularly in the context of managing a project attached to reducing the gender gap. Getting access to academic sources is of paramount importance to source the articles, especially since women are much less mediatized. --Nattes à chat (talk) 18:33, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  12. madalibi (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email). I have done more than 14,000 edits on WP since 2008. I edit mostly on Chinese history, but also on topics related to the social sciences, medical history, and the history of science, all of which are covered in this database. In a few minutes, I was already able to find an article on the transmission from Korea and China to Japan of "knowledge" (savoirs) concerning acupuncture and moxibustion (from the 2013 issue of Extrême-Orient – Extrême-Occident) that will add to my working draft on the History of acupuncture and moxibustion. I'm sure I can find many other relevant sources in journals like Annales. Histoire, Sciences Sociales and various books that Cairn also makes available. Thank you for your consideration! 13. Rystheguy (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I have over 7000 edits and have created over 90 articles on the English Wikipedia. I primarily translate articles from the French Wikipedia, and could use the access for articles related to history and geography. Thank you for your consideration, Ry's the Guy (talk|contribs) 06:25, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
