I, too, am a fan of the book. After I found out about it recently, I added it to the further reading sections in the Library and History of libraries articles. There are also Wikipedia articles about both of the authors (someone else had already added the book to both of those articles). I also agree with your comments about Commons images. Some of the thousands of images I've uploaded to Commons have similarly been published in books, magazines, and other websites, usually with correct attribution.
