I thought that my tool might be another useful comparison point for the ArbCom candidates... It's not much more than editcoutitis, but comparing the graphs for example of Charls Matthews, Fred Bauder, Ilyanep, Jayjg, and Blankfaze notes some largish differences in edit patterns. Anyway, if somebody thinks this is a good idea, I've modified the page and placed it at User:Interiot/Sandbox/Arbcom in case anyone wants to copy-n-paste it in. --Interiot 19:51, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, we generally don't modify articles after they've been published unless in case of error, and I can't make a justification to break that guideline this time. However, great work on your tool, and I'll think of it next time! (For sake of consistancy, though, I probably won't include links in the next issue where there are several new candidates that didn't go in this issue.) Thanks! Admin dates.[edit]

Ilyanep
First edit date: May 7, 2003
Administrator since prior to 2003

Wikipedia:Arbitration_Committee_Elections_December_2005/Candidate_statements#Ilyanep states "I've been here since May 2003", so the admin date is probably the one that's wrong.

Same errors for Filiocht and Jdforrester. -- Jeandré, 2006-01-06t11:45z

I probably should have made it clearer (and I've done so now): when listed as "Adminship prior to 2003", it means that the candidate was granted adminship before WP:RfA started, which was in July of 2003. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 01:47, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
