Anthologies and list[edit]

Hello all! I just added three links to this month's list that might need some explanation as they are not to individual women:

The first two are anthologies of women's writing, probably the first two anthologies of women's writing in English. One of them has introduced several new red links to be turned blue, and both of them together involved considerable sleuthing and clarification and correction, all of which I thought fit into the spirit of this project. The third link is to a list I recently updated with many new red links. If you are already watching all the literary redlink sources you may not see anything new there, but if you are specifically interested in British women poets before 1800, you may find it useful. Let me know if I have overstepped here! Thanks, — scribblingwoman 17:37, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't resist, I added two blue links to Specimens of British Poetesses, so the only author missing an article is now "Miss Scott of Ancram", but I've been unable to figure out who she is. Gamaliel (talk) 20:25, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
