List of all Bot's UserIDs[edit]

Does anyone know how to produce a list (xml file for example) of all the Bots on Wikipedia (active or not) containing their UserIDs that do NOT have a bot-Flag yet? Are there many active Bots without a bot-flag anyway --Fabian Flöck (talk) 16:15, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

pywikipedia[edit]

With pywikipedia When running login.py it will warn that the bot is not registered, since it can no longer finds itself on Wikipedia:Bots. I don't know where to file a bug report to pywikipedia so they use the new location. -- Drini 01:42, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They have a SourceForge page, http://sourceforge.net/projects/pywikipediabot/ It lists http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=603138&group_id=93107&func=browse as thier bug tracker. Essjay (Talk) 02:06, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Interwiki bots[edit]

Can the interwiki bots be altered to include Wikimedia Commons? It would be very helpful. Jkelly 18:50, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Werdnabot is listed as active - don't think it is[edit]

Didn't want to change the status myself, but I believe from the comments ont he Werdnabot talk page that it is now inactive. Cheers - PocklingtonDan 21:25, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All evidence to the contrary. Essjay (Talk) 02:49, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies, didn't think to look at its contribs first (I'd only just joined wikipedia when I made that post) - PocklingtonDan 22:03, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Should the non-active bots be moved?[edit]

The list of bots on the project page is mainly inactive and discontinued bots. I would think most people would want to use the list to find an active bot that does what they want and would be interested in active bots only? Would it be an idea to move off inactive and discontinued bots to a separate archive page linked to from the main page, which then showed only active bots? Just a thought. - PocklingtonDan 22:03, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have added in the template inactive bots, feel free to move them. --Parker007 15:54, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AntiVandalBot[edit]

It seems to me that all versions of this bot but User:AntiVandalBot are discontinued (or inactive at least) at the moment, and AntiVandalBot itself hasn't been doing anything but resetting Wikipedia:Introduction since 16 January. - Mike Rosoft 13:41, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AntiVandalBot's userpage states that the others were shut down and moved to that bot, as it was considered the most descriptive. It also states that it was moved to the toolserver; looking at the list of accounts and matching them against the bot operators, I'm guessing that Tawker is hosting it. He would probably be the best person to ask what happened to it. Essjay (Talk) 13:57, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My bot[edit]

My bot (User:FiriBot) isn't actually in these lists and the bot is annoying me that I should't use it before get a bot flag (I actually have a bot flag). Can an sysop add it?--Firilăcroco mesage 18:53, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ramehngbot[edit]

Rameshngbot is not added. Requesting to add it--Rameshng (talk) 16:31, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List of recent articles[edit]

How can we get a list of recent articles (by month) for a given category (and subcategories) like they've got for years on the French Wikipedia with HAL bot (see example)??? --Alainr345 (talk) 03:29, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
