Assignment - Peer review an article

Guiding framework

Assignment - Peer reviews are complete

I hope everybody is comfortable with her/his selected article by now. This week focuses on how to critique an article created by a classmate.  At the end of the week, every student should finish reviewing their assigned articles.

Review below this week project assignment leading to the term paper

Here are the steps to follow in reviewing your fellow learner’s article and to complete assignment 7.

Firstly, click on the “students” tab on your course page. You will see the list of your peers’ articles, in front of their names. Then select the article you will mostly like to review.

Secondly, when you are ready to perform the peer review, click on the “sandboxes” tab of whose article you selected. You will find the “sandboxes” right below his/her name. Then successively,

  • Go to the talk page.
  • Click "New section".
  • Add a subject, something like "Samantha's peer review".
  • Leave your notes in the space below. ( in the guiding framework of  assignment 7, you have a set of information that explains in details how to effectively evaluate your peer's work)
  • Save the page by pressing on “ Publish Changes”

Once it is done, you successfully reviewed your peers' article.

Finally, go in your own sandbox and create a section titled: “Peer review Assignment 7 completed”:  where you will a note something like: “Samantha peer-reviewed John’s article”. This is very important.

PS: If you didn’t receive any feedback from your fellow classmates, you have the option of seeking assistance from Wikipedia’s staff to eventually receive valuable point of views about your work. The feedback can serve you to gradually improve your article.
