How do we construct a conception of physical reality based on sensory experience? A survey of the basic facts, theories, and methods of studying sensation and perception, with a primary focus on vision and audition. This is a highly interdisciplinary field of science, crossing the boundaries between psychology, robotics, computer vision, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, biology, philosophy, and physics.

The students will pick a topic in perception and edit its (underdeveloped) wikipedia article or a create a new article for it.
