Welcome to the April 2014 edition of the Bugle!

While February was an usually quiet month, the article news section of this edition of the Bugle highlights the impressively large number of articles and other content promoted to A-Class or Featured status in March. These include no less than three articles by MisterBee1966, which form part of his remarkably comprehensive series of lists on the recipients of Nazi Germany's highest military award.

Still on the topic of German military history, this month's edition features an interview with three editors who work in this field, in which they discuss their experiences and provide advice to editors who are considering working on the topic.

The regular review section includes Hawkeye7's assessment of a book discussing Britain's contribution to World War II, as well as the usual roundup of recent external reviews of military history books – the essay from The Economist on recent World War I books is particularly interesting.
