Hurricane Juan[edit]

First of many requests in the hurricane column. Currently a GA, wondering what is needed for FAC. CrazyC83 22:42, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Here's some things I would like to see done.

  • Longer lede
  • Rewritten preps and make it longer (and add sources)
  • The impact should be rewritten to be more organized. Perhaps it could be split by Nova Scotia having its own section (one paragraph with meteorological details, then the effects), then having a section for elsewhere in Canada. Surely there's more impact elsewhere
  • More aftermath would be nice. The first paragraph doesn't have much to do with aftermath. There's no mention of rebuilding or aid from the government. Was it declared a disaster area, for example? The retirement section could be merged with aftermath.
