American Broadcasting Company[edit]

I have listed this article for peer review because I just replaced most of its pre-existing text with a translation of text from the French Wikipedia. I want the article to live up to the quality of its French counterpart, which is a featured article itself, yet it concerns me that there are still some problems that would prevent this English article from attaining featured article status. Please discuss what specific measures can be taken to help improve the quality of the article; I would gladly appreciate the time and cooperation of anyone who is willing to be involved in this discussion. —Seth Allen (talk) 15:09, November 20, 2013 (UTC)

  • Galleries: Avoid including galleries in articles, as per Wikipedia:Galleries. Common solutions to this problem include moving the gallery to wikicommons or integrating images with the text. (tJosve05a (c) 21:27, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • ToC: Per WP:WIAFA, this article's table of contents (ToC) may be too long – consider shrinking it down by merging short sections or using a proper system of daughter pages as per Wikipedia:Summary style. (tJosve05a (c) 21:27, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • American or British: Please make the spelling of English words consistent with either American or British spelling, depending upon the subject of the article. Examples include: honor (A) (British: honour), behavior (A) (British: behaviour), meter (A) (British: metre), organize (A) (British: organise), realize (A) (British: realise), criticize (A) (British: criticise), ization (A) (British: isation), grey (B) (American: gray), program (A) (British: programme), programme (B) (American: program ). • Redundancy: Vague terms of size often are unnecessary and redundant - “some”, “a variety/number/majority of”, “several”, “a few”, “many”, “any”, and “all”. (tJosve05a (c) 21:27, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
