Course Description[edit]
Computer Organisation and Advanced Microprocessors (COAM) is a course for the third year (Fifth semester) undergraduate students of Department of Electronics and Telecommunication at College of Engineering, Pune (COEP.
This is an advanced course in the domain of Electronics Engineering. Students learn Architecture and Organisation of different Microprocessors's.
Examination Scheme[edit]
The Wikipedia Article will be evaluated and will account for the 20 Marks of Internal Assessment for the Computer Organization and Advanced Microprocessors Practicals.
Assignments Overview[edit]
The assignments shall be writing articles based on the course contents. The title or contents of the article for assignment shall be finalized in consultation with Course Instructor. Each assignment should be separate article. The large size articles/contributions can be submitted into two parts as assignments. The submission of these assignments will be on Wikipedia.

ALL THE STUDENTS MUST CREATE THEIR USER NAMES & ARTICLE NAME BY 30th, AUG. 2011 till 5.00 p.m THE STUDENTS WHO WILL NOT FOLLOW THE DEADLINES WILL BE PENALISED !!!
First select the topics that interest you from the course contents. Search these selected contents on Wikipedia. If you find the displayed Wikipedia article needs to be added/updated or there is not a article then you choose this topic for assignment(s).

- Make first edits to your assigned pages.
- Get your Wikipedia page finalized by the instructor and begin expanding the assigned page with lot of content added to it
Sept 05th, 2011[edit]
- Initial study on the topic assigned.
- Discuss your updates with the Mentor/Instructor.
September 12th, 2011[edit]
- Detailed study of the topic assigned.
- Review Meeting involving all participants.
- Introduction to Wikipedia Sandboxes.
- Write a summary of your changes in your sandbox.
October 31st, 2011[edit]
- Finalize the changes to your Wikipedia Page. Mention the last edit on this page (deadline: OCT 31st 2011, 6 pm)

Also fill the form under the date 17th august 2011
The deadline for writing the initial phase of the article is 23rd Sept 2011. 10 Marks will be evaluated at this stage .Students who are not following the deadline will be penalised with a deduction of 5 marks
