About the event[edit]
This is an Intro-to-Wiki training session, which will help you to understand more about Wikipedia and equip you with the skills to begin editing.
- How do I prepare?
- Create a Wikipedia account - your username should not include your organisation name, or be promotional. More info here: Wikipedia:Username policy
- Bring a laptop (wi-fi will be provided)
- Learn about editing if you like: Tutorial, or Getting started on Wikipedia for more information
