The Dirty Picture is a 2011 Indian film that broke stereotypes related to the portrayal of women's sexuality in Indian cinema. The film's star, Vidya Balan, was particularly awarded for a role that most Indian actresses would run away from. Yup, from what I see online. The show was aired on TV on 31 December, but the ceremony was held on 18 December.

Commons states that "the {{Personality rights}} template may be used to warn re-users of Commons’ content that local laws may impose additional requirements on reuse, over and above those enforced here". I don't think this is mandatory.

The "praise" here refers to the accolades the films received. The sentence says that "the film garnered awards and nominations in several categories, with particular praise .." From the listing, it can be deciphered that the film was mostly awarded in those three categories.
  • Vidya's performance ... Best Actress awards for Vidya Vidya → Balan per WP:SURNAME
This is something that has been discussed here. I don't belong to that part of India, so I am unsure of the naming convention, but as per the note on the top of her biography page, the name Balan is apparently a patronym and not a family name, and therefore she should be referred to by her given name.

Oppose question mark over the inclusion of minor awards...
  • Image caption needs a full stop.
  • "the film narrates ... The film " repetitive prose.
  • Our article on Vishal–Shekhar appears to separate the names using an en-dash.
  • "Best Dialougue" is that a deliberate typo?
  • Why are we including minor awards which are so un-notable that they don't even have a Wikipedia page, e.g. Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards? ETC Bollywood Business Awards?
