A state government award list based on National Film Award for Best Actress, an existing FL. I've not included the roles played by the actresses in the table as most of them aren't notable enough outside the film.   • "The awardees, decided" – awardees seems a little bit odd to me. How about recipients?

  • "Since then, there have been many instances where an actress was awarded based on her performance in more than one film during a year." – I think this can rephrased as something like "Since then, several actresses have been awarded for more than one performance during a single year."
  • Why are the first letters of the words in description capitalized?
  • Please add {{Abbr}} for Refs.
  • I think references in the center look much better as opposed to be on the left side.
  • You have added that Jayabharathi has been awarded for various films in the year 1972. Could you add the names of those films in a footnote?
    • Unfortunately the official catalog doesn't specify those films.   • "In 1998", "took the control over the awards" — change them to "Since 1998", "has been exercising control over the awards" respectively. Because till date, the control is in the hands of the academy only.
  • "Cultural Affairs Department" or "Department of Cultural Affairs". Only one of them please.
  • Did Sheela receive the award for her role or performance in the film? Because the next sentence itself says something else.
    • "Performance" obviously, but no harm if we say "roles". After all, it's the role that helps actors win awards. —Vensatry (ping) 10:47, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I accept that. But, i have found that two instances use "roles" and the other two use "performances". i want to make sure that uniformity (say consistency) is practiced in the lead. :) Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:44, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • "have won the award two times in their careers" — twice in their careers.
  • "winning the accolade" — The whole paragraph says award, and this sentence says accolade. Why so?
  • Why Kerala State Chalachitra Academy is Wikilinked more than once in the references? Any specific reason?
