WikiProject Animals[edit]

Hello, Zearin, and thank you for your contributions to animals-related articles! You seem to have an interest in animal topics; were you aware that there is a WikiProject, WikiProject Animals, devoted solely to the improvement and maintenance of animals-related articles in Wikipedia? You can join now, if you'd like, simply by adding your name to the list, and, optionally, adding {{User WikiProject Animals}} to your userpage (please also add active next to your username, so we can distinguish active an inactive users).

We are rather short of members at the moment, so every new member is appreciated. If you are not interested, you can choose to ignore this message, or leave a message stating so on my talk page. Cheers, Intelligentsium 03:19, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Categorization[edit]

Please do not add overly general categories to articles (e.g. [1] and [2]). Categories such as Category:Computer science should remain nearly empty, containing mostly other more specific subcategories. Cheers, —Ruud 17:20, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

HTML5 time tags[edit]

Hi! Is there a general discussion or consensus somewhere about making these kinds of edits?

While WP:BOLD applies, I believe such new things should not be introduced without a consensus in a community discussion, for example Wikipedia:Village pump or Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals). The burden on editors needs to be balanced against the usefulness of this feature. And there may be better technical solutions that don't burden editors. -- intgr [talk] 09:49, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
