When I made the page, I entered in the talk page my thoughts on creating it. I modeled it after Edelman's page, thinking that as edelman is self described as the largest, 5W is not the smallest, but has been the fastest growing for 3 years running according to the two PR Trades that track this stuff.

What makes it notable is that is has become big in its sphere within a short period of time, and carries no less wiki info as edelman does on its page.

Please let me know how they differ and I will also try to find some info to bolster the page's information to keep it within wikipedia.

See these too, also what I based this on. I'm still working on it. Thank you for consideration. The Borenstein Group Darren Barefoot; in fact, see the companies listed under Public Realtions Categories, some are simply basic listings. Juda S. Engelmayer 17:23, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Sorry not to ahve seen your message earlier. If his User page is to be believed, he's left Wikipedia, in which case the problems are over. If he returnes (under this or another name), and you again have trouble from him, let me know. I'll be keeping an eye out too. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 22:02, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Sorry

Before leaving this site, I must apologize to Ytny. Sorry, Skipshady. I was pathetic. I'll try to grow up. Goodby Skipshady!

Replaceable fair use

Why is the image image:Carr-promo.jpg not considered fair use? Carr passed away in 1991, and therefore images of him are hard to obtain. Darwin's Bulldog 17:50, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

LoHo

I was actually trying to be funny - I do get it, even if I disagree. I appreciate your time and attention on the matter and the care of a reasonable reply that does clarify things. I suppose also that I am too close to the issue, unbiased to a degree, and while the "nay"s had it, many were personal anger over the name - which I venture they'd have even if the Times did a big feature on the "new name". The debate was lost on lack of RS, but with little exception, the people penning the debate could care less about RS, they just did not like the name for whatever reason, and sometimes nasty ones. See you around Wikipedia. Thanks again Juda S. Engelmayer 18:23, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

just so you know, it wasnt rubbish. he truly is a fat, scumbag cunt of a referee and man. anyhoo, delete this, just wanted to insert MY two cents. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.42.76.22 (talkcontribs)

FYI

In light of the debate about Category:Iranian polygamists, I have nominated Category:Polygamists for deletion. However, I've made it a separate nomination. Please see Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2007_February_3#Category:Polygamists. Pascal.Tesson 16:06, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Manhattan street articles

The problem I have is that your actions are inherently inconsistent in this matter. You are proposing that articles be deleted, which -- if successful -- will mean that the articles and their entire contents will be removed from Wikipedia. You are then creating another article that consolidates all of this information into a single article, which is basically saying that the content is worthwhile and useful, you're just merging them together. I cannot possibly support the destructive choice of deletion, which is what you've created with the AfD. If you are proposing a merge/redirect into a combined article, I would have a much easier time of agreeing with you, as it would keep the articles and history, allowing for expansion into solo articles as the information and sources justify. I would strongly suggest that you change the AfD to match your actions, and propose that the articles be merge/redirected or withdraw the AfD in its entirety and go ahead with the merge/redirect. Nemanja Vidić

FYI, I restored the JadranSport external link in the Nemanja Vidić article. If you browse the 'headlines' for his profile there, you will get a list of news articles that they published concerning Vidic. JadranSport is particularly notable since it is also only English language site (as far as I know) that covers his national team performances in detail as well. // Laughing Man 18:49, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

I'll try to spend some more time on the article to cite sources -- I also noticed the many {{fact}}s in the article that we should easily be able to find. Thanks. // Laughing Man 18:58, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Ah, I'm afraid I did not know that...I'll revise the few player pages I already made the changes too. Thanks for the heads up!--Flute138 13:58, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

nate robinson Vertical

Nate Robinson said his vertical is 4 feet on the 2007 NBa Dunk Contest. If nate robinsons vertical was 43.5 Inches he would not be able to get Eye Level with the basketball rim or preform Threw the legs dunk.

Sendai Airport Line

I think that People mover is only for trains without a driver. So, Yurikamome would be a people mover, but not the Sendai Airport Line, even though it serves a very limited area. What do you think? Neier 00:23, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Survey Invitation

Hi there, I am a research student from the National University of Singapore and I wish to invite you to do an online survey about Wikipedia. To compensate you for your time, I am offering a reward of USD$10, either to you or as a donation to the Wikimedia Foundation. For more information, please go to the research home page. Thank you. --WikiInquirer 08:48, 3 March 2007 (UTC)talk to me

THankyou for you image concerns. Unfortunately it is not possible at present to get photographs of every living person with the result that the encyclopedia will suffer if all living people are not allowed fair use images. In a way I agree that free images are possible for the living people but it does make the quality worse temporarily if every image is removed. I can't really argue the case against Fabio Capello -beleive me if I could snap shot him coming out of Real Madrid football ground looking rather bemused I woould and immeditaely upload it to wikipedia. Many of the images you are removing though are for such a media purpose though. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "I've been expecting you" 09:52, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Dave Bampton

Not sure why you speedied Dave Bampton when he qualifies as notable due to playing for a football team in a fully professional league (as he did when he played for Swindon Town. Surely it's better to prod such pages instead of going down the speedy route, particularly if you aren't informed enough to know if a footballer is notable or not. 128.243.220.22

Thank you for making a report about 128.243.220.22 (talk · contribs · block log) on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! —dgiestc 17:41, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

hi, i notice you regularly edit football articles; at the moment i'm hoping the TH article can be cleaned up big time. if you could turn your attention to tweaking and improving the article in any way that would be tremendous. thanks. Chensiyuan 14:56, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Jeff Parke and duplication at #23

The MLSnet roster hasn't updated to include it yet, but Parke stated at Media Day (per MetroFanatic.com) that he'll be wearing #60 this season. Just a heads-up. Bill Oaf 21:26, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi, seeing you have been involved in previous Afd debates on the subject I invite you to contribute to this discussion to clarify certain issues about football player notability. I think clearer guidelines are needed to avoid repeated inappropriate nominations for deletion and time consuming discussions. Cheers! StephP 20:46, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Unsourced info regarding footballers

Hi there, I see you've warned anon 172.207.138.190 twice before, regarding those numbers. However he keeps changing apps and goals and failing to cite any kind of source. Any ideas about how we should proceed on the matter? Regards —Lesfer (t/c/@) 04:44, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

I would like to see your opinion, following your contributions on the talkpage of WP:BIO and more for your proposal about notability. If international player does not mean notability, then I am wondering why this article will be kept. User:KRBN 20:13, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Fransesco Totti

Hi:

I received notification that I did not adhere to wiki rules by editing a portion of Fransesco Totti's page regarding the penalty shot he took against the Australians in the 2006 World Cup. All I had done was change it to read that it was a controversial penalty as the foul was questionable as stated by the commentators. I assure you this is not a personal opinion and therefore I have not broken any rules. --64.42.231.71 20:11, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
