Disambiguation link notification for April 20[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited TCW Tower, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Story. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Adding images[edit]

I appreciate you uploading your images of Amtrak and other rail systems. However, please do be careful to only add images to articles when they are relevant. Images should add something new not already shown by other images, and should illustrate the information in the text. (See MOS:IMAGERELEVANCE for the relevant Manual of Style section.) For example, on Pacific Surfliner, File:Pacific Surfliner SC-44.jpg does not add anything new, as there is already a photo of a Charger in the rolling stock section, nor does it illustrate anything particular in the text.

Please note that this is not to tell you not to upload images - more high-quality images like yours are always welcome on Commons! Not every image has to be used immediately in an article. Thanks, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 20:53, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I'll try to follow those rules more carefully from now on. WriterArtistCoder (talk) 22:42, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, hold on...the other picture is lower-quality and doesn't show the colors of new wrap as well. Shouldn't it be replaced? WriterArtistCoder (talk) 22:48, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That's a good question. Your photo is definitely higher-quality and better-lit. However, your photo shows a locomotive on its own, rather than as part of a train, so I'm ambivalent about which to use. If you're still in the area and able to get a photo of a whole train including the locomotive, that would be ideal. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 23:08, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'll do that next time I'm there. Not sure when that will be though. WriterArtistCoder (talk) 23:43, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I got a photo with locomotive and consist in LA Union Station recently and replaced it. WriterArtistCoder (talk) 04:49, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
