I actually deleted it back in August 2008. It was deleted via the proposed deletion policy and the reason in the deletion summary is the reason left by the person who proposed it's deletion. The following reason was given by DragonflySixtyseven to Rjd0060 for killing the article Mordor (Athens, GA) and restricting me from editing. "Last month, you were persuaded to restore the deleted history of a newly-recreated article on a putative neighborhood of Athens, Georgia - an article which had been deleted on the grounds that no such neighborhood existed. The guy who created the article both times supplied many external references to the neighborhood. However, none of these references actually mention the alleged neighborhood. If you're presented with something so ridiculous as a neighborhood named Mordor, it's a good idea to actually check the alleged references. I've killed the article again; let it stay dead. I am the guy who created the article and I assure you it is not intended as a hoax. The reason I added the article, twice, is because I live in this neighborhood. Despite the opinion that Mordor is a "ridiculous" name for a district, it is in fact an actual place. Mordor is the contemporary nomenclature for an area that includes, but expands beyond, the area of Athens, GA known as the "Iron Triangle". The "Iron Triangle" is specifically referred to in the academic works that I not only cited but quoted. The reason I chose to name the article "Mordor" rather, than "Iron Triangle" is because it is more accurate in describing the whole of Athens Clarke County police Zone 11. "Mordor" is also the most common moniker used by the area's residents.

I respectfully request that the administrator who disabled my account (DragonflySixtyseven I believe), please unfreeze it and reinstate the article. I would suggest that Wikipedia's policy on consensus be followed if there is a dispute between the title of "Mordor" and "The Iron Triangle". In regards to being labeled a "hoaxer", I will refer you to Wikipedia's Fourth Pillar: "Act in good faith, never disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point, and assume good faith on the part of others. Be open and welcoming."
