Thanks,but

I did not really understand... Omogolo Mathumo (talk) 05:55, 3 January 2016 (UTC)

That's OK. I guess you are referring to my edit here [1]. Maybe my advice is not important. Willondon (talk) 22:55, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

May City, Iowa

I'm sorry Willondon I didn't realize you were from May City, Iowa and know the history better than myself. I would appreciate if you would stop changing my edits of the the May City page. I find it disrespectful and so does the rightful mayor, my good friend, Suzie. Please stay out of the business of the town. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Usasoccer123 (talkcontribs) 15:32, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

I'm not from May City, and I doubt that I know the history better than yourself, since I'm completely ignorant on the topic, except for what I read on Wikipedia. That's why I'm anxious to ensure that reliable sources can be given for each statement. The town's business is not the same as Wikipedia's business, but I wish you success there all the same. Willondon (talk) 15:58, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

Maybe we had a misunderstanding. You changed my edit again. Please stop. Peace and Love. Usasoccer123 A.K.A. Claire from Iowa — Preceding unsigned comment added by Usasoccer123 (talkcontribs) 17:04, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

There's nothing personal with my reverts. Your edits just need a source, that's all. To be clear, we're talking about this edit here [2], right? -- Willondon (talk) 17:06, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

STOP CARING ABOUT MAY CITY! Good gravy leave it alone. May City is not technical a town so it doesn't not have a website, so it can't have source?. Suzie is the mayor because she is the only eligible contender. Once again, Peace and Love. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Usasoccer123 (talkcontribs) 17:32, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

I don't care about May City. I care about Wikipedia. The subject doesn't have to have a web site, but it has to have secondary sources commenting on it for it to be notable. I'm wondering if the article needs to be proposed for deletion given the lack of sources. We can let that go for now, but any changes such as yours [3] are easily challenged with a request for a reliable source. Willondon (talk) 17:43, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

How much are you getting paid for harassing someone trying to hep out other. I going to report your page real quick unless this stops. May City, Iowa is an important page to keep. If it is deleted, 35 people will cry. Please leave the page alone. I don't care that you think it is your job to be the police of wikipedia, but let's tone it down a bit. Peace and not so much love, Usasoccer123 A.K.A. Claire from Iowa p.s. stop harasssing me — Preceding unsigned comment added by Usasoccer123 (talkcontribs) 18:32, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

I don't deny that everything you say might be true. Everyone one in May City may know it. But if it's going to stand in a globally read Wikipedia, it needs to come from a source that's regarded as reliable by readers outside the locale. Willondon (talk) 18:40, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

Stop harassing me and if you had noticed I put source. Cheerio, Usasoccer123 A.K.A. Claire really pissed of from Iowa — Preceding unsigned comment added by Usasoccer123 (talkcontribs) 19:00, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

Sad to hear that Claire is really pissed of, but I can't do anything about that. Everyone has their inner anger, but it's within our own power only to remedy that. Maintaining anger and expecting an outside remedy is a sure recipe for sustained, smoldering sufferance. A sad situation if you wear it for the rest of your life. Suggest you move on. Vandalism

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you consider to be disruptive about my edits.U2fan01 (talk) 02:50, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

I assume you refer to my edit here [4]. To expand:
  1. [5] adds "legend" to occupation section of infobox; true, whimsical, not constructive.
  2. [6] adds three past members to band U2; while there's an association, there's no reasonable way they can be regarded as former members of U2; whimsical?, not constructive.
  3. [7] redirects "Stairway" to "Stairway to Heaven"; whimsical, not constructive.
Willondon (talk) 16:24, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

In regard to the first edit, it's true. Whimsical? Maybe. But true. In regard to the second, they were by definition past members. In regard to the third, people refer to Stairway to Heaven most commonly as Stairway.U2fan01 (talk) 16:39, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

You dope!

You dope, I sent a POTSTICKER!
Thank you for your thoughtful words. I wish I could help people understand that the main reason they feel the need to rename everything from marijuana to cannabis is simply https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_guilt. I'm persistent, with support from thinkers like you I don't think I'll be going anywhere for a long time... thank you!!!! Potguru (talk) 23:38, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
Thanks. See my comments about "white guilt", and assuming people's motives, though. [8] Willondon (talk) 05:25, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

Engleham

I just wanted to make sure that you fully understand the immense enabling and support you are currently supplying to a bully. He managed to insult me even further while thanking you. How is reporting him beneficial to Wikipedia? Hopefully, getting rid of that bit of negativity, especially considering Engleham's rich history of insulting and bullying editors. Of course, you are more than welcome to prove me wrong. EauZenCashHaveIt (I'm All Ears) 09:47, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

(Note: this stems from an exchange at Engleham's talk page, here.)

(Courtesy ping @Engleham:) Willondon (talk) 21:30, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Or you could just ignore them. Bullies need a victim. I'm not sure why you came to their user page to apply for the job [9], but that's what's enabling and supporting them right now. Willondon (talk) 15:39, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
It began with an anonymous talk page comment which wildly violated WP:FORUM and made inappropriate remarks on the Wikipedia community. I looked into that IP's edits and found this, which led me to believe that it was Engleham's. I politely asked whether the IP edits (which include blatant vandalism) were Engleham's, a request which was ignored. This made me curious as for the nature of the editor, which lead me to their user page.
And no, ignoring bullies is never the solution. In real life, you punch their lights out. In case of keyboard warriors, you seek to ban them - or any other method of preventing them from continuously insulting everyone who crosses their path. The little I saw in their debate history, they managed to attack an autistic editor - repeatedly - pounding on that editor's autism. If that is not bullying, I don't know what is. *sigh*
I guess that's what the popcorn is for. Willondon (talk)
All that takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. But hey, enjoy the show. Just remember that spectators don't get to participate. EauZenCashHaveIt (I'm All Ears) 03:45, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
I understand now, why they sell it in such huge tubs. Willondon (talk) 04:20, 28 January 2016 (UTC) (Note: the time stamp is pure synchronicity.)
Are you WP:BAITing me? EauZenCashHaveIt (I'm All Ears) 04:26, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
I'm not sure. Willondon (talk) 05:04, 28 January 2016 (UTC)

Your calm measured witty responses across Wikipedia are so impressive Willondon, and a lesson to us all. Reading them is like watching bugs smash themselves repeatedly into a pane a glass. Or perhaps a mirror, given they show up foolishness without the merest suggestion of it on your part. Thwarting, but providing no ammunition, the frustration you must generate in the unbalanced is amusing to consider! Engleham (talk) 16:17, 28 January 2016 (UTC)

As I said, keep digging. EauZenCashHaveIt (I'm All Ears) 00:17, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

Move it outside, people. We got a classy establishment going on here. You can fight in the parking lot. Willondon (talk) 01:21, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

We got a classy establishment going on here. Now I wouldn't go that far... ;-) Engleham (talk) 02:05, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

The farther you go, the classier it gets. *zing* Willondon (talk) 17:31, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

Materialscientist

Hey do you know if he uses a bot? Cuz i have seen his contributions and it looked automated. Winterysteppe (talk) 15:02, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

I don't know. You'd have to ask them. I'm a small volume, slow pace Wikignome, myself, but I do use things to make it more efficient: scripts I run on my computer, cut and paste, drafting edits "off Wiki" and submitting them all at once. That can sometimes make the efforts seem superhuman. I like to keep a few things in life a pleasant mystery, so I try not to draw conclusions that would kill them. If you ask and they answer, don't tell me. I don't want to know! Cheers. Willondon (talk) 15:22, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
