Scratch[edit]

I saw you were having some trouble on Talk:Scratch (programming language). It's okay to remove off-topic stuff like that per WP:NOTFORUM. Alternately, you can use the {{collapse top}}/collapse bottom or {{hidden archive top}}/hidden archive bottom templates to hide content. I at first thought I was supposed to delete that off topic talk section, but then became under the impression that I was supposed to use a collapse template. However, at first, I misplaced that, collapsing the above post. I believe it is correct now, though. But thanks for the help, and the cookies!

November 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm MrX. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Donald Trump email controversy without adequately explaining why. Perhaps I did something incorrectly, although I deleted that information because it seemed biased, and unsupported by the given sources, and there were actually other cited sources which contradicted the information. I forgot, however, to include an edit summary; I'll obviously have to be sure to do that next time. Anyway, am I supposed to delete that information, if it was misleading, and I found it to be quite biased?

If something can't be verified in a source, then it can be removed. I'm not sure what you mean by biased in this case, but it seems very subjective. The content you removed are simple facts and those facts are directly supported by one of the sources. Thank you very much for the help, and for fixing my mistake and notifying me about it! I'll raise my concerns on the article talk page, although upon reading the cited news articles for that particular information and other cited news articles throughout the article, I got the idea that that information was not quite true. Further, I felt as though it was biased as it seemed to suggest (incorrectly, according to USA Today) that was Donald Trump did was illegal. According to USA Today, "Trump was not accused of doing anything illegal at the time and he clearly was not a public official".

Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict...please fill out my survey?[edit]

Hello :) I am writing my MA dissertation on Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict, and I noticed that you have contributed to those pages. My dissertation will look at the process of collaborative knowledge production on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the effect it has on bias in the articles. This will involve understanding the profiles and motivations of editors, contention/controversy and dispute resolution in the talk pages, and bias in the final article.
