Changing the Redirect at Zuzu Bailey[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you tried to revert the redirect at Zuzu Bailey. The article was brought before WP:Articles for Deletion, and the consensus was to change the article to a redirect to the film's article. Please see the full discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Zuzu Bailey. Going against the consensus on your own and trying circumvent the AFD is not regular practice here, so please excercize caution in the future when reverting redirected articles. Senior editor[edit]

Since you just created this account (well, at least you just made your first edit) 4 days ago, you really aren't entitled to display the Senior Editor badge. Not that there's any policy to say you can't put it on your page, it just seems a bit disingenuous. Sort of like claiming that you are (half) responsible for character biographies that you barely contributed to (and which contributions appear largely problematic). Manny Balestrero[edit]

Can you explain why you think this person needs an article that is separate from the article about the movie that was adapted from his story? You write this real-life person's biography using the identical words that describe the movie's plot, while it is quite likely that the real person's life was somewhat different than the film adaptation, and certainly extended beyond this one episode. Merely copying the movie plot to the real person's biography serves no purpose. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:56, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please take a break[edit]

Please take a break and explain what it is you are trying to do? (Like your own name says: "What Ya Doing?") You appear to be bent on "creating" film character biographies that are not needed by either copying the plot section of the relevant film to a new article, or by simply referring to the plot section of the relevant article. If you feel that people want to look up film characters, but you don't really have anything to add about the character that isn't already listed in the film article, just create a redirect page. That way people can look up the character, and find the film article that contains the info about the character. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:18, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Manny Balestrero has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello, WhatYaDoing. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Charlie Oakley (character), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Ironholds (talk) 17:48, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rick Blaine[edit]

I have undone your reversion at Rick Blaine. As an iconic fictional character, I can understand why you might feel an article is justified. However, simply copying the plot from Casablanca (film) is not appropriate. -- Whpq (talk) 18:15, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
