Schools aren't eligible for A7. In addition, if you had looked closer at the article you'd have seen it was pure vandalism, since it linked to ISIS. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 03:23, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

A7 deletion for page Lagerstein

I'm wondering why you marked the page I was at the time making for deletion. It was for a band Lagerstein, the 2nd Largest band in their genre.

Edmond leka

Why would that be nominated for speedydeletion? None of it is copypasted from somehwere else... The language use i have taken from another wikipedia soruce so that I would neutral!! Wikihunter123 (talk) 06:27, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

@Wikihunter123: Thanks for checking! I nominated Edmond Leka for speedy deletion because the article does not signify why Edmond is a remarkable enough person to warrant their own article in the encyclopedia. There are also no sources, and we are not allowed to create articles on living people without reliable sources, as that would create the possibility of slander. You may want to read Your first article to learn what the requirements are for new Wikipedia articles. Thank you again for checking with me. Updating infobox image syntax

Hi there. In this update (and a number of others, I now see) you removed the image's alt text. This text is added for those who have to use screen-readers etc (details here) and as such should not be removed without reason. Cheers, Nikthestunned 10:00, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

@Nikthestunned: I see what you mean. When I was working on the infoboxes, I removed the alt tag that was used within the image tag (example: [[File:Example.jpg|alt=This is an example]] but I did not realize that it could be placed back into the {{infobox book}} template as a parameter by itself. I will relocate the alt text to the alt= parameter within the template going forward. Thank you for letting me know! --WayfaringWanderer (talk) 21:23, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

Images

Hi, I have a question of how I am able to upload a photo ? Or if someone can do it for me becuase i am not able to as I havent been confirmed yet! Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikihunter123 (talkcontribs) 08:20, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

@Wikihunter123: If the photo you would like to use is freely licensed, you can upload it to Wikimedia Commons. You can log in to Commons with the same username you use on Wikipedia. Once the photo is uploaded to Commons, you can link to it on Wikipedia. If the photo you would like to use is copyrighted, you can possibly upload it directly to Wikipedia if it meets certain criteria. If it is a photo of a living person, it cannot be uploaded to Wikipedia - it must be a freely licensed photo and must be uploaded to Commons. Also, you will not be able to upload images to Wikipedia until your account is four days old, but you can upload to Commons right away as long as your photos are not copyrighted. Photo licensing can be confusing on Wikipedia - I recommend you read the information at the two links above to learn more about it. I hope this helps! --WayfaringWanderer (talk) 21:34, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

I have unreviewed a page you curated

Hi, I'm FiendYT. I wanted to let you know that I saw the page you reviewed, Locket (1986 film), and have un-reviewed it again. If you have any questions, please ask them on my talk page. Thank you. FiendYT (talk) 06:00, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

Hello, just wondering how your recent of me has been marked as speedily deletion it contains nothing bad. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeffzedit (talkcontribs) 02:22, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Note: I moved the comment into a new section rather than keeping it at the top of the talk page. --WayfaringWanderer (talk) 02:29, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
@Jeffzedit: Hi Jeffzrdit - thanks for asking. I tagged the page for speedy deletion because the person in the article does not meet Wikipedia's credibility guidelines. Perhaps once the rapper begins their career they will meet the guidelines. Please reference WP:CCS for more information on credibility guidelines. Thanks! --WayfaringWanderer (talk) 02:29, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for your feedback although the music career has already started last summer where there already has been a song released.

Sorry, Indiana is not spelled "Indenia" and your Instagram account has no place in the article :) --WayfaringWanderer (talk) 23:16, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Copyright issue in another language

Is this one copyrighted also: User:Sm.mohamed/sandbox (since you really can't do the not English tag on sandboxes) Wgolf (talk) 23:11, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Yep, Google shows that it was copied from here. --WayfaringWanderer (talk) 23:14, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
Thanks-person probably should be warned for copyright info (though not sure if this person even knows English) Wgolf (talk) 23:17, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
And for some reason my csd warning for the sandbox didn't go on his talk page. Wgolf (talk) 23:18, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
@Wgolf: Very true. Personally I'm not experienced enough to know how to handle copyvios beyond tagging the offending articles. I trust an admin will know whether further action needs to be taken when they see the extent of the warnings on this person's talk page. --WayfaringWanderer (talk) 23:20, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
