Speedy deletion of Super Rail Adventures[edit]

A tag has been placed on Super Rail Adventures, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Fair use rationale for File:Xboxsystem.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Xboxsystem.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 15:42, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:EmmanuelA.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

Orphaned non-free image (File:PP7Art.jpg)[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:PP7Art.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Replaceable fair use Image:SSJap.jpg[edit]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:SSJap.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 01:45, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of List of one-time characters in Johnny Test[edit]

The article List of one-time characters in Johnny Test has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Almost by definition, one time appearing characters in almost any fiction or entertainment series are not going to be notable except in special circumstances making them particularly notable. Unless there are reliable sources for this list it should be deleted.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DanielRigal (talk) 23:25, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated List of one-time characters in Johnny Test, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of one-time characters in Johnny Test. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. DanielRigal (talk) 20:33, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding YON as a base for 7[edit]

I will say this once and only once; Things you read on Puyo Nexus Wiki are NOT encyclopedic by any means. As an admin of Puyo Nexus I know exactly how the policies work and it is NOT fit for wikipedia, period. That's just all there is to it.

Finally, this information (clarification; the information on Wikipedia's Puyo Puyo~n page) was added by Tomatzu, whom of which we do not find a credible source. He's no more credible than any other Puyo Puyo fan.

If you wish to defend such radically incorrect information, please find an actual basis that can be debated and people to debate it. This is simply just as silly as saying Puyo Puyo Fever 2 was not counted in the numbering of Puyo Puyo games; And that was proven incorrect by official public information. I won't tolerate the addition of incorrect information. Unless you have an encyclopedic basis to say this, don't say it! I don't see a thread on Puyo Nexus rumoring Puyo Puyo~n is the basis for 7, and I sure as hell don't see this anywhere except Wikipedia where Tom and you have written it all over the place without reason.

The current main reasons why Puyo Puyo~n would be considered a basis follows:

  • Dark Arle corresponds to Doppelganger Arle
  • The small puyo board in Chibi Henshin
  • The YON remix present in the game
  • The story mode, which is still way different than YONs anyways.

However, how can this POSSIBLY make the game any more likely to be based off of YON? There are remixes and songs from other games as well as new songs, the Deka Henshin board is EXACTLY LIKE Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary's Big Puyo mode - except with cumulative chaining. And bringing Dark Arle into the mix isn't exactly a surprise either; After all, they put Strange Klug in the game too, and he wasn't related.

The reason why people think YON was a base is because they wished it was. Unfortunately for those people, the game was as based on any other game as it was YON. They just added elements from YON, much like PP15 added elements from other classic games. Big deal. That's not basis for anything. YON was radically different than other Puyo Puyo games with it's art style and the concept of special moves. But you don't see any of that in Puyo Puyo 7. And that's because Puyo Puyo 7 isn't based off of YON.

Thank you. Next time, please consider your actions. --Nmn (talk) 02:38, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Add Sources or they'll keep getting removed[edit]

Anybody can make up anything on Wikipedia. I could say that Johnny Test was called the "jacob test", that is why we need sources. If you have a source that this was called Jimmy Test or Johnny Testing, add them, or else they'll keep getting removed. I did a google search for "Jimmy Testing" and found no results except for the wikipedia article and wikipedia clones. Heavydata (talk) 10:16, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Look, the bottom line is, you don't have proof it was called those. Add it again and I'll count it as vandalism. If you keep doing it over and over I'll report you to a moderator on Wikipedia. Simple? I hope so. Knock it off and get over yourself. Heavydata (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:19, 12 October 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
